2006 - 2011

Back in 2006, our MD Luke Marthinusen developed a website, photocopiers.co.za while selling photocopiers and quickly became one of the most successful copier reps in South Africa. He used his website to generate inbound sales leads and soon realised his passion for digital marketing.

2011 - 2012

Speed up to mid-2011 and Luke starts Markets Online from his apartment in Illovo, Johannesburg. In 2012, Jaco van der Watt joined as a graphic designer and in 2015 became a partner in the business.

2013 -

2016 -

In May 2016, Markets Online moved into custom fitted offices in Hyde Park and that same year rebranded themselves as MO Agency. Fast forward to 2017, MO is now 15 people strong, with a focus on keeping small, and high quality output that is on a par and better than the larger and impersonal agencies.
